Known limitations
- The alarm will not sound during a power outage: the battery protects settings only.
- Auto-set is a preloaded clock, not radio sync: after a long unpowered stretch you may need to reselect the zone.
- WWVB reception depends on the house: concrete walls and distance from Colorado can delay the nightly sync.
